Thank you to all our families who participated in our yearly classroom fundraiser. The donations for the Christmas baskets and selling tickets were all very much appreciated. We were able to put together two beautiful Christmas baskets with all the wonderful items donated by the students in our class and Miss. Fiddler's class as well. The Saggar family and the Acorn family were our lucky winners. Congratulations! Our class raised $407.00 that will go toward extra classroom supplies and field trips. Merry Christmas Everyone!

Good luck everyone! With December just around the corner, we are beginning to practice for the upcoming Christmas Concert. This year's concert will be held at the E.A. Rawlinson Centre. How exciting for all our students to perform on the big stage!
The concert date is Wednesday December 18th. There will be two performances, an afternoon and an evening performance. Students will be bussed to and from the afternoon performance. Doors will open at 12:15 for the afternoon performance and the show will begin at 12:45. Students will need to have their own transportation to and from the evening performance. Doors will open at 6:30p.m. and the show will begin at 7:00. Tickets are $2.00 each and a note has gone home with the youngest/only child in each family from Grade K-4. As indicated on the note, each family is only entitled to purchase 2 tickets to the afternoon and 2 tickets to the evening performance. Tickets will be sold to the youngest/only child in your family beginning on December 2nd. We have been working very hard all year to learn our sight words. Many of the Grade 2's have read all 300 of our word cards and the rest of us are practicing, practicing, practicing. Here are a few links to some sight word games you can play at home for extra practice.
We started the year with a field trip to City Hall and The Farmers Market. We even got to meet the Mayor!
